The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga has narrated his three-week battle with COVID-19.
Raila, who tested positive for the virus on Wednesday, March 10, said he was put on drugs for the first five days of his hospitalisation, after which he used a herbal drug when he got discharged.
Speaking at the State House on Thursday, March 1, the former premier, although he recovered from the infection, he revealed he had been steaming daily to manage the infection.

"I received a mixture that was more of a herbal drug. Secondly, I have been steaming a lot in the evening. Then I was on oxygen for a while. Earlier in the day, Raila accompanied President Uhuru Kenyatta to inspect development projects in Nairobi and Kajiado counties.
In Nairobi, the duo made an impromptu visit to the Green Park Bus Terminus on Haile Selassie Avenue, which currently undertaken by the Nairobi Metropolitan Service (NMS).
"I am now out. God is good. Today I had the chance to be out for the first time. I want to thank my brother (Uhuru) for visiting me at home. Kenyans can now see me. It was the first time Raila physically addressed the media after testing positive, although the seasoned politician had, on March 31, held a meeting with the ODM top leadership.
